It starts with them and that’s the reason why we invest a lot in the partnership with our suppliers. Our vast supplier network has global coverage. Although we cherish each relationship, we would like to highlight the following three partnerships.

Imagine that you live in a place where temperatures range from minus 40 to plus 40 degrees Celsius. Hard to imagine for us here in the southwestern part of the Netherlands where we have mild winters and relatively cool summers. However, our farmer friends in Northern Kazakhstan are used to these demanding conditions. With their know-how and experience they manage to deal with this harsh environment. The crops they grow are just as robust as they are. You can feel and taste the love and hard work they put into the products. That’s why we’re very proud to be able to offer these high quality Kazakh ingredients. Did you know that much of the Kazakh land has been untouched for years and that farming without chemical pesticides and fertilizers is the norm? That’s good news and we try to help where we can! As Kazakhstan has been diversifying their crops and doesn’t rely on their traditional grain business only, we can offer your various natural products. Wheat, flax seed, lentils, peas and many more. DFI ORGANICS' CONNECTION

DFI Organics has been present in Kazakhstan for 10 years, importing products such as wheat, lentils, oats, barley, soybean, sunflower and flaxseed. We established a Kazakhstani company, to ensure the presence of our own people, working with the farmers directly and ensuring proper controls. The team is not only focusing on trade activities, but also assists the farmers with certification, advises on farming methods, performs sampling/quality checks and organizes the logistics from farm to Europe and North America. Doens Food guarantees the quality of our products from field to customer.

MAIN PRODUCTS

The most important products we source in Kazakhstan are flaxseed, high pro wheat, pulses and mustard. The flaxseed in Kazakhstan is considered the best in the world and finds its way to top oil producing companies and food industry. The wheat from Kazakhstan is well known for its excellent specs for the milling industry with very high protein levels and stable baking qualities. Over the last years there has been an increased production of pulses like peas, beans, lentils and chickpeas in Kazakhstan. These products are high in protein, fiber and various vitamins, provide amino acids.
