Our farmers and suppliers grow and take care of our valuable products. They put all their love and efforts in producing only the best ingredients. That’s why they’re so precious to all of us. It starts with them and that’s the reason why we invest a lot in the partnership with our suppliers. Our vast supplier network has global coverage. When you think of the land of opportunity, you probably didn’t put Uganda on top of your list. But what a rich and fertile country is this! Maybe not when you think in monetary values, but it certainly is in terms of climate, biodiversity and people! We fell in love with the country and the people and for many years we’ve truly had a heart-warming relationship with our local partner. Although the soil and conditions allow for many crops to be grown, our main focus is on sesame seeds. And not only on the product, but also on the local communities. It’s difficult to find the right words when you see local society develop in many ways thanks to that wonderful sesame product. Thanks to your support we can achieve amazing things!

DFI ORGANICS’ CONNECTION

Through the project in Uganda, DFI Organics provides fundamental financial and educational support to 35,000 certified farmers and their families. Taking into account that the average Ugandan family exists of 10 persons, our support affects up to almost half a million Ugandan people. Our farmers receive professional assistance which not only boosts their productivity, but also provides a fair and profitable income with guaranteed acquisition.

MAIN PRODUCTS

Our project mainly sources sesame seeds, chia seeds and bird’s eye chili pepper, which are, due to our full control of the product chain, always subject to strict quality supervision. Sesame consists of 50% oil and 25% protein and is mainly used in oil pressing and baking, but also serves as a very suitable ingredient for sesame pastes. The cakes that are left after oil pressing make an excellent high protein feed for poultry and livestock. With its in-house sterilizing and roasting facility, DFI Organics always guarantees a 100% safe product that can be adjusted to any specific requirement.
